The E1 stands out for its unique design features. The bike's key feature is the centralised and suspended mass of the e-bike system, rider weight, and the payload. This design, along with a low center of gravity, ensures a smooth, stable ride, with control and comfort like no other bike at any speed. The E1 utilizes the Bosch Gen 4 Performance CX Drive system, further enhancing its performance.

The E1’s hydroformed aluminum frame is specially designed to have a low center of gravity, aiding the beautifully balanced handling, wherever you ride, and whatever your load. The frame’s purposeful geometry, tube design, material choices, and NAIL’D suspension combine for a unique ergonomic design - a riding position that is comfortable, yet efficient and effective.

The E1 is not just about performance; it's about accessibility too. A Step-through frame makes E1 accessible to all riders – designed to suit any age, size, riding experience, even clothing choices. The hydroformed alloy frame is strong, light, and durable. The strongest, widest, central section above the traditional ‘bottom bracket’ area houses the 4th Generation Bosch system.

The E1 is the most efficient and safe E-mobility vehicle ever introduced. This advanced multi-purpose Urban Adventure e-bike is your bike ‘Partner for life’. This is made possible due to separation between the drive loads and suspension movement. Separating these loads from the suspension, the E1 rides better over more varied terrain and at higher speeds, delivering market leading handling across a wide range of usage applications.

The E1 project started in December of 2018 and has taken almost 3 full years to realize from idea to final production happening in December 2021. The project locations have been Ohio, Oregon, Wisconsin in the USA and Taichung, Taiwan. The E1 is designed to deliver the best ride experience whether you’re carrying cargo or riding solo. The E1 design has been recognized and awarded Silver in A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award in 2022.
